The last night

After five great days, the last night came. None of the Spanish people wished that day to arrive because it meant that the next day we were going back home. The plan for  our
last night in Uden was a dinner with all the families of the Dutch people in the dining room of the school.
The families met at half past six there, in the dining room. Each of the families took
food that had cooked at home. When we were all sitting at the tables (each sitting where we wanted to) we all went to get the food which was situated like a buffet.
Finally we were all looking forward to leave the school because we had planned to go to a pub in Uden for a farewell party. That was really great.

Our day in Amsterdam

On Monday at 9 a.m. we took a bus with the Dutch, French and Italian students who also were exchanging and went to the centre of Amsterdam.
There we visited the Rijkmuseum, the Dutch National Museum, which in my opinion was boring, and later we had some free time.
During the free time we bought typical food of there, suvenirs and we took photos of famous monuments.
Later we got together again and we all went for dinner to a Moroccan restaurant. It was a huge nice place.
When we finished dinner we took the bus to return to Uden.

My Sunday family day.

On Sunday, my partner Tulay's family and me woke up at 9 o'clock after going to a disco on Saturday.
I remember that I fell down the stairs and Tulay saw me. I felt really embarassed.
We ate breakfast, a lot of food, and then we went to Madurodam, a place with models of Holland, all Holland was there in miniature. There we met her bother, because he lives at a university residence.
I really liked it because I saw all Holland in one day, or at least the most important places.
At about 11, we ate again and went to finish the tour. It was so big and beautiful.
Then we went to the aquarium and had something to eat (again!). It was near the beach. It was really nice, we saw lots of fish.
At 7, we went to a Turkish-Arab restaurant and ate more. As a first course, we had soup ,and fish as a second course. At the end, we ate typical desert of Turkey. While we were drinking the coffe a women began to sing Arab music, like in a concert. I realized that Tulay's mom really likes it. I liked it but after listening to it for 20 minutes I got bored and tired, and I think Tulay did too.

That place was 2 hours far from Uden, and when her friend Lote called Tulay to ask us to go to her home we couldn't make it. But it was a such a good and funny day. It was nice to meet her family and her brother.
